The expression "creative industries" emerged in the 1990s, first in Australia, then gaining momentum in England. The creative industries include, among others, the activities related to theater, film, publicity, architecture, art and antiques market, crafts, design, fashion design, interactive software for leisure, music, publishing industry, radio, TV, museums, galleries, and activities linked to cultural traditions.
