Management is a field capable of generating doctrines, values, and a rather particular representation of the world, at the center of which the goal of efficiency follows intact (or sometimes camouflaged). Management, in this sense, can be seen as a machine for constructing meanings about broad areas of existence, such as interpersonal interaction, work, consumption, our relationship with our society and country, and many others. In line with this statement, some decades ago various social science researchers demonstrated that management had become one of the principal ethos modernos, generating its own fetishes, many of which being already strongly rooted in our daily lives.
