This is the page about the book by the French sociologist Alain Ehrenberg, whose translation and organization was proposed by me and recently published by the Idéias & Letras publishing house. The title is The Cult of Performance: from Entrepreneurial Adventure to Nervous Depression.

The cult of performance is characterized by the confluence of three discourses: of sports, consumption, and business. In this book, the reader finds a translation of the third part of the original work, precisely that discussing the cult of performance in the discourse of business. In addition, in this Brazilian version, you can read two unpublished essays by Thomaz Wood Jr. (FGV), Ana Paula Paes de Paula (UFMG), and Pedro F. Bendassolli (UFRN).
